8:15 P.M.

Well we are in our eleventh month now, next month will be our year. We had a really good week. This week we had alot of visitors this week alot from Washington and some from New Haven we got the camera and took lots of pictures. Stacey has been doing alot better this week in all avenues walking, speaking the diet thing is not adjusting with her very well but we are holding to it, also the ones that came from Washington had came a least three times this week and she started doing more with them. We also was told by ones here in New Haven that they thought she was not allowed visitors and this is wrong, who ever would like to come by PLEASE do, the more company she has the better, it did seem that she was doing more after seeing her friends.

Well I got to talk with Mrs. Conners from the school and she thinks it might be best if Stacey get her speech therapy that they will help me with this year from school she said maybe half days to begin with, but this to would start helping her to develop more skills as far as being around other people as well as other kids like her friends. I thought that was a wonderful ideal I just hope it works, because it seems that she is doing alot more but it is only for me, she has stopped working with Ray even, I mean she will but it takes coaching from me to get her to finish the task that Ray is working with her at the time. We got our approval for the YMCA we will probably start in a couple weeks I need to find some swimming diapers for adults before we start, so hopefully soon. Friday was definitely a Friday the 13th for me I started out taking Stacey to Wal-Marts to go shopping with me and half way there her NEW Wheelchair flew out of the back of the truck I am not sure how this happened because I have been hauling wheelchairs since forever and never had a problem with it before and this one is alot heavier than the last one. But it pretty well was destroyed, and I was lucky no one was following me at the time, so never the less its not insured so we had to borrow one, which it will do until we get her on her feet. So then later that night we was going to take Stacey to the New Haven Fair because they had the Queen contest at 7:30 Friday night and I thought that might spark another memory for her so we was leaving and I was holding the door for Ray to push Stacey out and I twisted my ankle on one of the ramps, but besides being in pain we still went and it did spark a memory since she was in it last year before the accident, and it did some of the girls come out in there dresses and she just out of the blue said I want to wear my dress to, I wanted to cry, but I was able to hold it in since there was alot of people out there, alot of people came up to say hi to her but she just turned away like always, but all and all it was a good ending to a very terrible day. Well I guess that is all for this week will put a picture up tonight of two of her friends they actually got her to stand for the picture and it was for a good five minutes because my batteries went dead so I had to go get more.
