2:30 P.M. Well last night they moved Stacey to the Nero Ward on the Third Floor room 318 Stacey is still not over her infection so no visitors are allowed yet they say it may be another week before it fully clears up. Not much to report today except they are talking about moving her to a nursing home, which they were not very happy with me, especially after they had mentioned this to me, so I guess I need to have a talk with a few people about moving her home, if they are not going to do any more with her, her best chances is to be at home. I did six years as CNA and CMT work plus 6 months into my career for an RN which unfortunately I never finished, but I worked with a lot of patients so I feel I am more skilled than a nursing home, that more than likely will let her rot in bed. Plus I am bound and determined she is going to snap out of this one way or another, hopefully if I can get her home I can work with her more that I get to now. But I will continue this next few weeks to keep everyone informed and what is going to happen and when she is allowed visitor's also wanted to let everyone know that Loretta has sit up the ride for Stacey Sept. 23 starting at 8 A.M. and the ride starts at noon, but would like all her friends to come down we are going to video tape it for her so she can see all of her friends.Thank You again to everyone that has been there for me and Ray even the little commits makes a big difference thank you everyone please keep the prayers a coming and God Bless.

Kim,
I totally agree with you about Stacey being at home versus a nursing home. I did want to let you know that I am a pediatric home health nurse. You should be eligible for a nurse to come in and help you with Stacey and/or just give you a break. This is what I do. If I can help just let me know and maybe I can at least get you information or access to some help. Please call me for anything. Just don't ever think that you are in this alone. We are all here for you one way or another.
Loretta
Kim,
I just read your update on Stacey. Have you checked into putting her in the Rehabilitation Instute? This would be an option for her. There have been several people that we have met that have been at St. Johns that have made great strides after leaving there. We have had great results so far with Adam. They do have a floor that works with people with head injuries. All the doctors and therapists we have worked with have been very good. Please call me at 636-262-6552. I will try to get some information together for you.

Kim,
I thought they were putting her in a rehab bed to TRY and wake her up for a month or two before doing the nursing home bit; its only been one month; I though they said they give such patients three months!!!!! Hang in there and we will keep on praying....hugs and love, Donna
Kim,
I am sooo sorry to hear about this change. I am in the home health care business now so let me know if I can come and give you a break or anything I can do. I have been praying that her brain would come back normal. This is one of the saddest situations that has happened in this family since Farrons accident. Love, Aunt Deb
Absolutley do not let her be put in the nursing home.. her Mama's care would be the best situation! Do not let the doctors talk you into it. We have faith in you.
Love, Stephanie
