9:30 P.M. Sorry I haven't updated for awhile had a lot of decision to make and was not sure what to do. Today they gave Stacey the swallow test and she passed with flying colors. They tried to give her some soft foods today but was not able to keep it in her mouth, for some reason she did not like it, we were not sure if she still had a taste of the medicine that they gave her before the swallow test still in her mouth and it was tainting her taste of everything else, or it has just been so long since she had anything that it may take time. A lot of friends have came up to visit Stacey but still no real response yet. The decision I had to make was they are going to release her next week, she is medically stable and not doing enough for rehab. To be able to keep her any longer, she has gained 4 pounds back since last week and infections are cleared up. My option was to bring her home or send her to a facility that will continue to work with her, it was difficult because the only one we could get her in is at a facility in Mt. Vernon Mo. which is on the other side of Branson Mo. this facility is one of the best in Missouri for recovery of head trauma patients it was hard for me because I will not be able to go along, it's been a very hard decision to make, but I have to do what is best for her and hopefully they will be able to get her back on her feet and home to me and her friends as soon as possible. I will be able to see her on weekends but it will still be hard. So I will have to ask if you would like to see Stacey this weekend would be the best time, because they will probably move her Wednesday. Thank You for the continuous support, and God Bless. I will try to keep updating until she leaves.
